In the central part of the dialog, either a new or already created table is displayed.

The first row of the table is highlighted; its cells, starting with the second, are used to display the names of variables. Cells of the first column with a “Comment” heading are intended for explanations of variable sets. The remaining table cells are for numeric values of variables.

The row added to the empty table has the comment “New row”. When adding the next line, the selected line is copied.

When adding columns, the dialog for entering the column name appears on the screen.

To enter or edit a comment or a variable value, click in the cell, enter the data and press <Enter>. You can use the arrow keys to navigate to the adjacent cells.

The button is available after selecting a row or cell. After you click the button, the external variables of the file take on the values indicated in the highlighted line of the Variable Table. Values will be assigned only to those variables whose names match the column headings of the table. Simultaneously with the transfer of values dialog Table of Variables closes with changes.
