View base point |
A group of buttons to select the base point of a view, which can be: •Color of bounding rectangle or contour, •View Origins. The coordinates of the base point of view are displayed in the Snap point fields. |
By default, when creating a view, the base point is View Origins. When editing the view parameters, it is Color of bounding rectangle or contour. |
Snap Point |
The input field for coordinates defines the position of the basic view point in the absolute coordinate system (its origin coincides with the bottom-left corner of the drawing’s overall frame). Two practices for setting a snap point are available: •using the mouse to specify a point in the graphic area of the drawing, with point coordinates detected automatically, •enter the X and Y coordinates in the corresponding fields. |
After setting a snap point, creation of a view completes automatically. |

Rotation Angle |
The field for setting the view rotation angle. The angle is set in the absolute coordinate system and is counted anticlockwise. View rotation is performed around its origin. If you need to turn a view around another point, use the Rotation. You can’t set the rotation angle while creating standard views. For associative views with a projection link, the rotation angle can be set only after disabling this link (see Table Advanced options). While setting the rotation angle for the Projective view, and By Arrowview, Cut/section, and Leader Element, note the following feature. The value of angle is set and counted in the absolute coordinate system. The view caption displays the value of angle by which the view is rotated relative to its reference view. Therefore, the values in the Rotation angle field and in the view label may differ from each other. |

You can set linear and angular parameters using the geometrical calculator. |
