Coordinates |
Group of coordinate fields for dimension snap points and for points defining position of the dimension line and text. The set of fields depends on which points are set for the dimension. For example, if objects are used for setting the dimension instead of points, the coordinates for snap points are not defined and the corresponding fields are not displayed on the Parameter Toolbar. Two methods are available to specify points: •using the mouse to specify a point in the graphic area of the drawing, with point coordinates detected automatically, •entering the point coordinates in the corresponding field on the Parameter Toolbar (when the coordinates are specified in the coordinate system of the current view). After points that define position of the dimension line and text are specified, dimensioning is automatically completed. |

Object/Objects |
This field is used to register base objects, i.e. objects selected for dimensioning. It looks like a single-line or multi-line Registrar. Details on Registrars... The field is displayed for all dimensions, except for the base line. |

Selection of Main Object |
This button controls how objects are selected for setting simple linear or angular dimensions. If the button is pressed, the base objects are specified, and if the button is released, the points are specified. For more information about specifying objects for setting dimensions, see sections Specifying objects for setting a linear dimension and angle sides configuration. |

This group of buttons can be used to select an option of dimension placement between two circles/arcs. The button group is displayed on the Parameter Panel if two circles, two arcs, or an arc and a circle are specified for placing the linear dimension. Clicking buttons of this group will display alternately dimension placement options in the graphic area. The following options are possible: •dimension between centers of circles/arcs, •dimension with extension lines tangent to circles/arcs. More details on the options for setting dimensions between two circles/arcs... |
