For changing the diameter of a cylindrical or spherical face, use the Modify face size command.

Step-by-step instructions

1.In the graphic area, specify the solid face (faces) whose size needs to be modified.
The selected face will be highlighted. The face name is displayed in the Faces field on the Parameter Panel.

In an operation, only faces of a single type can participate simultaneously: cylindrical or spherical. The type of the face is automatically determined by the system upon selecting the first face.

Specified edges may belong either to one solid or to different solids, including various assembly components. The initial diameters of the edges being modified may be different.

2.Set the value of diameter in the Diameter field on the Parameter Panel.
The graphic area will display a phantom of the modified solid.

3.If necessary, change the operation name in the Properties section on the Parameter Panel.

4.To complete the operation, click Create Object .
The size of the selected face will be changed, and the corresponding icon will appear in the Feature Tree.

5.To complete operation of the command, click Finish .

Tips

The diameter value of the edge can be set in the graphic area using the defining points.

To set the diameter value of the edge on the Parameters toolbar, you can use geometrical calculator.

You can assign tolerances to the values of the operation parameters expressed in linear values. To do this, invoke the Tolerance command located in the menu of the required parameter, or click the icon displayed in the parameter field (the icon is displayed if a tolerance is assigned to the parameter value).
