Equal lengths of selected segments or radii of selected circles/arcs are established using the Equal
.
Step-by-step instructions
1.Specify the first and the second object you want to set equal lengths or radii for. Such objects may be segments, centerlines, jogged lines, straight coordination axes, circles, circle arcs, coordination arc axes, and circular coordination axes.
|
When working with a drawing please note that all the parameterized objects must belong to the same view. |
If the existing constraints do not prevent equality of the specified objects' lengths or radii, then the image will be rebuilt, and after that lengths or radii of these objects will become equal. The objects will have the Equal Length or Equal Radius constraint applied.
2.To finish execution of the command, press the Complete
.
Additional features for applying constraints...
Constraint Equality of radii for arcs can arise automatically during the creation of objects in parametric mode. For this, the Setting up the parametric mode in the list Parameterize must include the option Snaps. The constraint will appear when you divide a single circle or arc into several new arcs using the command. truncation or clearing area.
Constraints are displayed in the graphic area in the constraint: preview mode. Equality of lengths is denoted by the symbol
, and equality of radii by the symbol
.
