Changing properties of a component |

You can change the properties of a component, including an array instance, a library component, or a detailing geometry. To do this, select the required component and call the Component properties
command from the context menu in the Tree or in the graphical area of the model.
The Parameter Toolbar will display controls allowing you to do the following:
•change the component designation and name,
•change the source of the component,
•select the component material and set the hatching parameters used for displaying in cuts or sections in associative views of drawings,
•set the component parameters for calculating the model's CMP and perform the calculation,
•set the method of placement on assembly layers,
•change the color and optical properties of the component,
•enable or disable creation of the BOM item,
•recalculate dimensions for the component based on tolerances,
•configure the list of properties of the current model,
•set some property values, such as the Dissect at cuts, using the properties list.
