Additional number management in Document Manager |

To manage additional numbers in the Document Manager the elements shown in the table are used. To display them in the Manager, it is necessary that the element Additional Numbers
is selected in the Document Manager's tree.

Table of additional numbers |
The table contains a list of additional numbers of model versions and property values corresponding to the additional numbers. A list of additional numbers is contained in the column Additional number. The display of columns containing property values is customizable (see below). Assignment/changing of numbers and their properties is performed directly in the table cells. |

Create additional number of the version |
The button allows you to create an additional number of the model version. The number is formed in accordance with the settings. |

Move Row Up Move Row Down |
Buttons allow you to move the line with the selected additional number one position up or down in the list of additional numbers. Buttons are available if the line can be moved to the specified position. |

Delete Rows |
The button allows you to delete the selected additional number or several additional numbers selected with the <Shift> or <Ctrl> key. |

Column settings |
The button allows you to customize the list of displayed properties and their order in the table of additional numbers. The values of each property are displayed in a separate column. After you click the button, the Column settings. |

Delete Column |
The button allows you to disable the display of a column containing values of various properties. To do this, first activate one of the cells in the desired column. Column mapping Additional number cannot be disabled. |

Insert variable |
The button allows you to add to the table of additional numbers a column containing values of any external variable. At the same time, a property is automatically created in the document from this variable. After you click the button, the Variables, allowing you to select the desired variable. The column with the variable name is added to the extension numbers table and to the list of displayed properties of the Column settings dialog. In the future, you can disable and enable the display of a column with variable values in the same way as other columns in the table. The value of the selected variable is entered directly into the cells of the column. |

Select a material from the list |
The button allows you to select a material from the the density reference file, which is used by the KOMPAS-3D system by default. On the screen, there appears a Dialog Density of Materials Selection. Upon the choice of material, density and style of hatch are set automatically. |

The button allows you to select a material from the Materials and Assortments application. Upon the choice of material, density is set automatically. |

Parameters for the formation of numbers of new versions |
Button allows to enable/disable automatic generation of numbers and additional numbers of new versions and set the formation parameters. Opens the New version numbers. |

Read from File |
The button allows you to create a list of additional numbers in the document, similar to that saved in an ods or xls file. After you click the button, a standard file open dialog appears on the screen. Select the required file and press Open button. The list of additional numbers from the file will be exported to the model. |

Save As... |
The button allows you to save the table of additional numbers as separate documents in one of the following types: •KOMPAS-Drawings (*.cdw), •KOMPAS–Fragments (*.frw), •KOMPAS–Text Documents (*.kdw), •KOMPAS–Tables (*.tbl), •Text files (*.txt), •ODF spreadsheets (*.ods), •Microsoft Excel spreadsheets (*.xls). After you click the button, the standard Save File dialog appears on the screen. Additional numbers table is saved to file format ods or xls, can be used to create a similar set of additional numbers in another model (see above). |

For reading and Table records in ods format require that the OpenOffice or LibreOffice suite be installed on the workstation. |
