Editing properties of the mockup component

Scroll

You can change the properties of a component mockup. To do this, select it in the Design Tree or in the graphic area of the model and call the Component Properties command from the context menu.

After you run this command, property setting controls appear on the Parameter Toolbar.

The Source section contains the Mockup file and Source File fields containing the paths to the source models of the mockup and its source component, respectively.

You can select a different model of the mockup/original component. To do this, click the appropriate field and specify the desired model in the file selection dialog that appears.

If the model of the mockup/original component contains versions, you can select the desired version from the corresponding list (which is displayed if there are versions in the model). For the model of the original component, you can also select an additional number.

When editing the properties of a mockup component, you can return to use the original component in the assembly (that is, replace the mockup with the component). To do this, set the Use mockup toggle switch into position 0 (disabled). For more details on replacing the mockup with the component...

The remaining properties of the mockup component – designation, name, material, etc. – change in the same way as properties of ordinary components. Details...
