To fix a length of a segment or a centerline, use the Fix Length command.

Ways to invoke the command

Step-by-step instructions

1.Specify an object (segment or centerline) to fix its length.
One object will have the constraint Fixed Length applied.

2.To complete the command, click Complete .

The auto-axis length can be fixed automatically when it is drawn in parametric mode. To do this, the Fix auto-axis length option must be enabled when setting up the parametric mode. Parametric mode is configured for a graphic document in the Parametrization section of the setup dialog, and for a sketch in a model, in the Sketch section.

In constraint display mode Segments and axes with fixed length are marked with the symbol.
