The text of designation caption suggested by the system is displayed in the Text field on the Parameter Panel or in the text box on the signage phantom.

If it is required to change the text and/or set up its parameters, click in Text field or in a text box on the signage phantom, or press any of the alphanumeric keys on the keyboard. This will start the Add Text... subprocess, and on the designation phantom, text input fields will appear.

If it is required to insert a standard text fragment into the caption, then after activation of the data entry field click the Standard text...  button in the Insertion section of the Parameter Panel or double-click in the field on the phantom sign. The process of insertion of a text template starts.

To fill the field located on the leader line, click it and enter the required text. Double-clicking after activation of the field invokes a special dialog in which you can select the contents of stamping or marking and the application method (in compliance with recommendations of the Appendix to GOST 2.314–68).

To quickly switch between the fields, use the <Tab> key.

The position of the caption on the leader line can be changed after the designation has been created. This is done using a characteristic point — in the same way as moving a label along a leader line of an arbitrary leader line. Details...

If necessary, change the text parameters (size, character color, etc.) using the elements on the Parameter Toolbar.

After you've input and formatted the text, click Create Object button. The system will return to the process of creating labeling or marking designation.

Below the field Text there is a Reference button. It allows to insert a link, for example, to an item of technical specifications. Adding a link is done without transitioning to the Add Text subprocess.

If text parameters at all the designations of stamping or marking in the document differ from the current default parameters, then it is recommended not to configure each text separately, but to set the required parameters as default. For that, there are the Text above/below/after leader landing and Inclined text subsections in the Leader line  section of the dialog for setting up the current document.
