Procedure for creating a BOM for an assembly with versions |
Scroll |
To create a BOM for an assembly with versions, it is recommended to use the Create BOM by Document
command (see section Create BOM by document).
This command creates a BOM document and connects the current assembly to it. As the result the BOM displays the existing data from the assembly about the component parts of the product.
The BOM has the style set in the BOM template for an assembly with versions, see section Document templates. Style is selected during creation or editing of a template.
By default, for assemblies containing no more than 4 versions (including the main one), type A group type BOM is used (GOST 2.113–75), while for assemblies with a larger number of versions, type B group type BOM is applied (GOST 2.113–75 F.1, 1v). You can change the default setting if required.

If the style of the BOM created by assembly does not match the configuration, check the descriptions of BOMs in this assembly. If among them there is a description with style matching the configuration, then make that description current, otherwise delete all descriptions. After that create the BOM once again. |
