The associative drawing view contains the image of model objects and Detailing elements created in that model.

To specify which types of objects and detailing elements should be shown in the view, you should enable the necessary options in the Model Objects and Symbols from model lists in the Objects section of the Parameter Panel. More details on settings...

Please note that objects and detailing elements in the model have the Project to drawing property, the value of which determines whether an associative view image of this object is created or not. Details...

For the Leader Element, configuration of transfer and display of objects and Detailing elements is unavailable. It shows the same geometric objects as in the reference view, and the dimensions and designations are those for which the transfer conditions are met.

Transferring hidden objects

The visibility state \ of an object or detailing element has no impact on its transfer to the drawing, i.e. the object or detailing element is transferred regardless of whether it is visible or hidden in the model. However, hidden objects/detailing elements are not displayed in the drawing.

You can enable display of hidden objects as follows:

Geometric objects:
Display is enabled at once for all hidden objects available in the view.
To that end, when creating or editing a view, you need to enable the Show hidden objects option under the Model objects list in the Project group on the Parameters toolbar. By default, this option is disabled, so geometric objects that are not shown in the model will not be displayed in the associative view.

Detailing elements:
Display is enabled individually for each hidden detailing element. To do this, after the view is created, run the Show Hidden Designations command and indicate the required formatting elements.

The detailing objects and elements which are part of hidden components are transferred into the drawing, but are not displayed in it. To manage their visibility as described above, first make the component itself visible. For more details on managing the display of components in the associative view...

Changes in the visibility of objects and Detailing elements made in the model after projecting are not transferred automatically to the drawing.

Specialities of transfer of geometrical objects

Sketches are projected into the drawing in the same view as they are displayed in the three-dimensional modelling mode. The sketch projection in the view is created regardless of the angle of the sketch plane to the view projections plane.

Objects of construction geometry such as axes and planes, coordinate systems, attachment and control points are not transferred to the drawing.

Specialities of transfer of detailing elements

Dimensions, captions and designations are transferred from a model to an associative view provided certain conditions are met. Details...

In some cases, dimensions and designations transferred to the view may be automatically hidden. Details...

Notes on transferring and displaying threads:

the cosmetic thread is constructed in the view if the plane of projections of this view is strictly parallel or strictly perpendicular to the axis of the surface on which the thread is constructed,

the thread is displayed in the drawing even if it is hidden in the model; you cannot disable the display of an individual thread (you can only disable the transfer of all threads that exist in the model to the view),

if you need to display a thread which is in the invisible sector of the model in the associative view, enable display of lines of the invisible contour in the view properties (see table Associative view drawing controls); the style set for these lines is also used to draw the image of the thread.
