The Bend command can be applied to sheet elements that have the "unbent" attribute as well as to bends which were unbent using the Unfold command.

Step-by-step instructions

1.Specify the fixed plane using one of the following methods.

In the graphic area, specify the required object: a flat face of the sheet part, a bend face, or a plane tangential to the bend face.
If you specify a bend face, a plane tangential to the selected face will be automatically built.

Build a construction plane of the required position by clicking the Build Plane button to the right of the Fixed Plane field (the element is available in the Unfold command).
The name of the selected object is displayed in the Fixed Plane field.

2.Specify the bends the state of which you want to change.

When working with the Unfold command, select the bends which are bent. To select a bend which is bent, specify the face of this bend in the graphic area.
To select a bent bend split into several portions as a result of building a cut or a strengthening edge, specify all portions of the cylindrical face of this bend.

When working with the Fold command, select unbent bends. To select an unbent bend, specify its flat face to be bent in the graphic area.
To select an unbent bend split into several portions as a result of building a cut, specify all portions of the face to be bent.

The names of the selected objects will appear in the Bends field. The phantom of the changing bends is displayed in the graphic area.

If you need to specify all the bends of the sheet part, click Select All Bends button to the right of the Bends field.

When you work with a simple shell ring, you can select portions to unbend/bend separately, and when you work with a ruled shell ring, you can select portions only in groups that are formed by consecutive non-flat portions.

3.When working with the Unfold command, you can enable building of bend lines on faces being unbent. To do this, use the Fold lines toggle switch. Details...

4.If required, specify the name of the operation in the Name field of the Name section.
