Editing a BOM Item |

The text part of the BOM item and its parameters can be changed by entering the item editing process.
The following actions are available in the item editing process:
•Filling the text part of the BOM item. Techniques for working with BOM item text are described in section Entering and Editing the Text Part of the BOM Item.
•Setting the BOM item parameters. Controls for the setting are described in section BOM Item Settings.

•Connecting documents to the item. Details...

When editing BOM items transferred from attached documents, you can only change the settings and split the text of the item into lines. |
To complete editing the BOM item, do one of the following actions:
•click the Create Item button 
in the header of the Parameter Panel,
•press the <Ctrl>+<Enter> keyboard shortcut,
•click outside the line containing the item,
•run any other command.
If you want to finish working with the BOM item without saving the changes, click Finish 
.

To perform any actions on a BOM item, except editing the text part, you only have to select that item — the Parameter Panel will display all the necessary controls. |
