Insertion from clipboard |
Scroll |
To paste objects contained in the clipboard into the active document, invoke the Paste
command. The command is unavailable if the clipboard is empty.
If the clipboard contains objects belonging to different views of a drawing and/or entire views, they will be immediately inserted into the drawing. Inserted objects are allocated in views with the same parameters as the source objects.
|
Since a fragment cannot contain views, no views or objects which belonged to different views cannot be inserted into it. |
If objects belonging to a fragment or one view of a drawing are in the clipboard, the process of insertion of objects from clipboard will start. In the graphic area, a phantom of inserted objects will appear.
Set the insert parameters by means of elements of the Parameter Toolbar (see the table) and specify the position of the basic point of objects being inserted.
|
To position the cursor precisely and set insertion parameters, use snaps and geometrical calculator. |
After indication of the basic point, the objects are inserted from the clipboard automatically. The system awaits indication of a new point of insertion.
Perform the required number of inserts.
To interrupt execution of the command, press the Terminate
.
