Changing the operation dimension value |

One of the ways to edit a numeric parameter of an operation is to change the value of the corresponding Operation sizes.
Operation sizes are displayed on the screen in the following cases:
•in the process of To do this, if in in the dialog for setting up the dimensions and designations display Option Dimensions of sketches and operations enabled,
•in Mode of displaying dimensions of the selected element — to enable this mode, press the Dimensions of the selected element 
button on the Quick Access Toolbar and select the required object in the Design Tree or specify any primitive of this object in the graphic region of the model: face, edge, or vertex.

•During the operation and in the element dimensions display mode both dimensions of the operation and dimensions of the parent sketch will be displayed. Thus, you can modify the sketch dimensions without switching to the sketch mode. •If the operation size is displayed as detailing element, derivative dimension, it is possible to edit the operation parameter by changing the value of the corresponding derivative dimension. In this way you can also change the sketch size by modifying the value of the corresponding derivative dimension. •The procedure for editing the derivative dimension and sketch dimension is similar to editing the operation dimension. |
Step-by-step instructions
1.Start the process of editing the required operation or the selected element dimension display mode (for derivative dimensions this operation is not required).
2.Call the dialog box for setting the dimension value by double-clicking the dimension text of the operation dimension.
3.In the expression setting field of the dialog enter the dimension value: a number, a constant or an expression to calculate the value. The rules for entering expressions are described in the section Syntax of expressions.
4.If necessary, perform other actions in the dialog: enter a comment, assign a tolerance for the dimension, etc.

5.To close the dialog and save the changes click Change size 
button.
If the model automatic rebuilding is enabled in the dialog (Rebuild 
button is pressed), after closing the dialog the model will be rearranged. If the rebuild function is disabled in the dialog, it can be enabled with a special using the command.
