Establishing correspondence between new and old results of the editable operation |
Scroll |
In the case of replacing original objects when editing an operation, the result may change in such a way that subsequent operations that were based on it lose their base objects and will be marked as erroneous in the Design tree. To prevent this, it is necessary to establish correspondence between the result of the operation before it was edited and the new result obtained after replacing its base objects. The associativity of subsequent operations will be retained, the geometry will be correctly rebuilt, and no errors will appear in the model.
The association setup is available when editing the following actions:
•Operations of building solids: Extrusion element, Revolution element, Element by path, Lofted element,
•Surface building operations: Extrusion surface, Revolution surface, Surface by path, Lofted surface.
Establishing the correspondence is performed in a special process, which is launched by clicking the Create with matching button
in the Creation options section of the Parameter panel.
After you complete your work in the process of setting correspondence, operation editing will be completed. Therefore, before proceeding to this process, it is necessary not only to replace the original operation objects but also to make all the required changes to its parameters.

In most cases, establishing correspondence ensures the elimination of errors in the geometry associated with the edited operation. However, the features of model building may not allow this to be done, and after completing the editing operation, some objects of the model will become erroneous. Such items need to be edited manually. |
