In KOMPAS-3D, it is possible to construct:
To plot a control point the Control point 
command is used.
Step-by-step instructions
1.Set the point with which the control point will coincide, in one of the ways:
•Set the point object in the Design Tree or in the graphics area.
•Build a point by pressing the Create Point 
button to the right of the Object field on the Parameters panel. Will start subprocess of plotting a point.
The name of the point object appears in the field Object.
A phantom control point appears in the graphics area.
2.You can select the coordinate system relative to which the control point will be located. To do that, use the Coordinate System section. Details...
3.If necessary, set the name and color of control point using elements in the Properties section.
4.You can display the name of the control point in the graphic area. To do this, set the toggle switch Show caption to position I (enabled). Details...
5.To complete building, click Create object

After you perform the above steps, the created control point will appear in the graphic area and the respective icon in the Design Tree .
6.To complete operation of the command, click Finish

You can construct a attachment point with one or two axes. The position of a point and the orientation of its axes can be determined by the system automatically over one specified object or specified by the user individually by specifying or constructing objects.
For building the connecting point use the Attachment Point 
command.
Step-by-step instructions
1.Select the type of connecting point by clicking the desired button in the Type of group on the Parameter Panel:
One Axis,
Two Axes.
2.Select a method for constructing an attachment point using a Method group of buttons and set the object(s) for the selected method. The following methods are available.
By object,
By position and orientation.

After specifying an object (objects) in the graphics area, a phantom attachment point appears.

After performing the described actions, the attachment point will appear in the graphics area, in the Design Tree – the respective icon .
7.To complete operation of the command, click Complete .
