Managing the state of inclusion into calculation by a variable

Managing inclusion into calculation/exclusion from calculation by a variable is available for all objects except components of the second and subsequent levels.

The following icons correspond to this method in the Design Tree:

Included in calculation by variable,

has been excluded from the calculation by variable .

To manage the state of the object (included/excluded), use the parameter variable Exclude from Calculation or A property created from this variable.

Management can be performed if an expression containing a variable or a Variables toolbar An expression containing a variable is set to determine the value of the variable, or Reference to a variable. In this case the object state (included/excluded) changes automatically when the value of this variable is changed. Commands for manual exclusion from calculation and inclusion into calculation are not available. Modification of the property value Result Calculation will not be available.

If necessary, you can edit the expression set for the variable parameter Exclude from calculation, or delete it. In the latter case, management of the object state will be switched to manual.

To quickly switch to working with a variable, click the icon Included in calculation by variable /Excluded from calculation by variable and call the appeared Go to variable command.
