Property copying |

When copying objects, created copies of objects automatically receive properties which replicate properties of source objects. All system properties with values set by user and all additional properties are subject to copying. For more details on setting property values, see section Property types and values.
For graphical objects:
•using the dragging the object while pressing the — properties are always copied;
•when inserting a graphic object from clipboard or the when working with commands of symmetry, scale, shift, rotation, as well as patterns copying by clicking, by curve, by grid, etc. — property copying can be managed.
To manage copying, use the Copy Attributes option in the Attributes and Properties section of the command Parameter Panel.
If the command provides an option to delete or preserve the source object, then the properties are copied with the Delete Source Objects option disabled in the Parameter Panel.

If none of the objects selected for copying has any properties specified by user, then the Property Copying toggle switches are not available. |
For models, properties copying occurs:
•when copying components and bodies using arrays,
•when copying components using drag and drop their icons from the Tree to the graphic area while holding the <Ctrl> key.
Properties of the initial object (component or solid) are copied to each copy of the component/solid. If needed, properties of each copy can later be edited.
