Commands used to create sections and BOM items - Add section and Add base object - in the Insertion menu of subordinate mode.
|
Construction objects created in subordinated mode will not appear in the BOM to which the document is connected. Therefore you should create construction objects not in the subordinated mode, but in the BOM after the document is connected to the BOM. |
When creating a base item in the subordinated mode, a new constituent part appears in the document. The data entered during the creation of the item become the properties of this constituent part.
When creating the base item in the subordinated mode, the most operations that are used for creation of the base item in the BOM document will be available, namely:
•setting advanced options:
•data input in additional graphs,
•attaching documents to the item..
In addition, the following additional options are available when working with BOM items in subordinated mode:
•setting up display of an item in the BOM of a particular style;
•inserting geometry into object composition — various model and/or drawing objects, including positional leaders.
|
Subordinate mode formatting of the BOM object text, such as underlining, changing the character spacing, will not be displayed in the BOM document. Therefore, all changes of this kind should be made in the BOM after the document is connected to it. |
