When editing insertions, you can:

You can apply the following commands to insertions: shift, Copying, rotation, scaling, mirroring. Please note that execution of the "Copy" and "Mirroring" commands results in the creation of new instances of insertion in the document.

The options listed above are applicable to insertions made by reference or by embedding.
If an insertion has been created with explosion, this insertion is a set of separate independent objects not associated with the source file (that is, there is no single insertion object). You can edit these objects individually using any methods or commands listed in the section Editing and deleting objects in a graphic document.
If needed, you can convert an insertion made by reference or by embedding into a set of individual objects. To that end, highlight the insertion and call the Dissolve
command from the Edit menu or from the context menu. More information about exploding objects...
