Step-by-step instructions
1.Run the Document manager using Version cotrol
command.
In the Manager tree, the element Version
will be enabled.
2.In the list of versions located in the right part of the Manager window select the version used as a source for the created version.
3.Create the required type of version by invoking one of the following commands from the button menu Create dependent version
:
•Create a dependent execution,
•Create mirrored version,
•Create an independent fulfillment.
The commands for creating dependent and independent versions are available for all versions except for mirrored versions. The command to create a mirror version is available for versions that are not mirror versions and have no dependent mirror versions.
After calling any of the specified commands (except the command for creating a mirror version called for a model with components), a new version appears in the Manager versions list and in the Versions tree. Properties of the version, including its name and designation, are displayed in the Document manager.
When creating a mirror version of the model containing components the mirroring configuration dialog will be displayed after Create mirrored version command is invoked. The dialog is similar to the one described in section Mirroring parameters with the only difference – there is no Select Objects... button. Perform the necessary settings and complete the creation of the mirror version by clicking the OK button in the dialog or the Create object button
in the title of the Parameter Panel. After that, the new version appears in the Manager list of versions and in the Versions tree.
If required, you can change the designation, name or any other property of the version. Details...
