To create a designation of the center, the Center Mark
command is used.
After invoking the command, the cursor will take the shape of a square "trap".
|
The size of the cursor’s trap can be changed in the dialog for setting up the cursor. |
Step-by-step instructions
1.Select the type of designation of the center by pressing the required button in the Type group on the Parameter Panel:
Two Axes,
One Axis,
Denoted by a cross.
2.Configure the rendering of centerlines of designation using elements in the Parameterssector. Details...
3.Specify the designation position.
•If it is required to create the center mark of an axisymmetric object (a circle, an arc of a circle, an ellipse, an arc of an ellipse, a rectangle, a regular polygon), indicate this object. When captured inside the cursor "trap", the axisymmetric object is highlighted.
•If it is necessary to build centerlines which do not belong to any axisymmetric object, set the position of the central point of designation.
4.If as the object a circle is indicated, an arc of a circle, or the object is not indicated, then in the graphic region a phantom of designation of the center appears. The name of the object is displayed in the Object field.
In this case, it is necessary to set the slope angle of designation. The value of the angle is input into the Slope angle field or is fixed by a mouse click. After fixing the slope angle, creation of the center mark automatically ends.
|
For precise setting the position of designation, it is possible to use Snaps and geometrical calculator. |
If an ellipse, an elliptical arc, a rectangle, or a regular polygon is indicated, then the slope angle of designation is determined automatically. After indication of the object, creation of designation automatically ends.
5.To complete operation of the command, click Complete
