Filling the BOM Title Block |

To display the BOM title block and make it available for editing, enable detailing display.
To fill the BOM title block, use the Fill in Title Block command.
After running the command, the title block filling mode is launched. In this mode the title block appearance changes — the borders of cells are displayed with account of the set text indents.
You can generate the title block and configure the text parameters using the controls of the Main section of the Parameter Panel and insert special characters, fractions, and other objects in the text using controls of the Insertion section. Double clicking any column of the title block opens the user menu, or the designation entry dialog, or the calendar to select the date. Filling columns semi-automatically is done in the same way as when filling the title block of a drawing. The listed options are reviewed in detail in the following sections:
•Date
If a document (assembly or drawing) is attached to the BOM, then the Designation and Name property values are transferred into the BOM from the attached document and displayed in the appropriate columns of the title block.
The Number of Pages and Sheet Number columns are filled in automatically and are unavailable for editing. If necessary, you can set a predefined number of sheets or disable auto detection of the sheet number. You can set these parameters in the Sheet Numbering dialog.
To finish the process of filling the title block and save the changes, click Create Item button
. You can also press the <Ctrl>+<Enter> keyboard shortcut, press the mouse wheel, or run any other command.
To finish working in the title block editing mode without saving the changes, click Finish
.
