Controlling the inclusion of a constituent part into the product and in current description of the BOM |

When working with an assembly (*.a3d) or a drawing (*.cdw), all the capabilities described in this section are available, but when working with a part (*.m3d), only the inclusion of blanks in the product composition is possible. |
By default, all constituent parts of the product, except for solids and blanks, are included in the product composition. This means that they will be reflected in the BOM of any style created according to the document.
The attribute of a component inclusion in the product is the presence in the row of this component, in the management area, of an icon of the type 
and non-stricken name and designation. Clicking on the icon excludes the constituent part from the composition of the product: the icon changes to 
, and the name and designation of the constituent part become strikethrough. Another click will include a constituent part into the product composition again.
To include a solid or blank in the product composition, find it in the Product composition panel and click on the icon . She will be replaced with . Including a blank in the specification means that the use of the blank will be Reflected in the specifications and in the drawing.
The icons and will also be displayed in group strings and in section strings. Clicking on the icon swaps the attribute of all the constituent parts included in the group/section.

You can also include a constituent part in the product composition and exclude it from the composition using the Include into BOM in properties of a component. |
If a constituent part is included in the product, the user can configure its display in the BOM of a particular style.
An indication that a constituent part will be displayed in the BOM the style of which is included in the Current description of BOM, — the presence of this component in the row, in the control area, the type icon of 
and the black color of the icon in the Name column. Clicking on the icon disables the display of the constituent part in the BOM of that style: the icon changes to 
, and the icon in the Name column becomes gray. Clicking again restores the display of the constituent part in the BOM.
To configure the display of a constituent part in a BOM of another style, assign the description containing this style as the current description. To do this, change the BOM template using the button Select BOM Template 
.
The icons and will also be displayed in group strings and in section strings. Clicking on the icon enables/disables display in the BOM the style of which is included in the current description, for all constituent parts included in the group/section.

For constituents excluded from the current BOM description or from the product composition, it is not possible to specify the Quantity property value. |
